Veldhoven, June 13, 2024 - High tech company ASML announces a partnership with Drop Mobility, an innovative provider of shared mobility solutions. Starting this summer, ASML will use campus e-bikes facilitated by Drop Mobility, This is a mobility solution aimed at better connecting Eindhoven Central Station with the ASML campus and a commute between the various ASML locations in the Brainport region. ''We are very pleased to be able to work with a company like ASML in this progressive and sustainable way,'' said Teun Verschuren, co-founder of Drop Mobility.

Encourage sustainable travel with share e-bikes
ASML works continuously to improve facilities and services to keep the campus and its surroundings accessible. By making campus e-bikes available, ASML encourages its employees to travel sustainably. Together with Drop Mobility, ASML is providing 1,000 e-bikes for the last leg of the journey or for commuting between ASML locations. "Thanks in part to the collaboration with Drop, we expect to be one step closer to achieving our mobility goal. We aim for even more employees to travel by public transportation. The campus e-bikes enable them to easily continue their sustainable journey from Eindhoven CS to an ASML location in the Brainport region,” said Pim de Weerd, Program Manager Access & Mobility at ASML. De Weerd emphasizes the joint ambition to further scale up the supply of shared bicycles near Eindhoven Central Station. This will increase accessibility and make the offer more attractive to more companies in the Brainport region.

Docking station locks and automatically charges e-bikes
Drop Mobility's chosen e-bike model was developed as an innovative share bike and is combined with an advanced docking station, which locks and charges the vehicles automatically at all times. ASML employees can easily use these services through a user-friendly app.

Drop Mobility manages and distributes e-bikes
Drop Mobility will take care of the total service regarding the provision of over 1,000 e-bikes to travel to and from the various locations. The e-bikes will be distributed to various hubs in and around locations designated by ASML.
